Hi! I’m Andy Claremont. I’ve worked with customer communities in gaming, tech, and B2B SaaS for the last 15+ years.
Community Stacks is home to my opinionated collection of resources about professional community management.
It’s a build-in-public project and very much in the early stages.
I shared more of the vision in my first post. Sign up to follow along:

Community Leaders panel at the Create With conference in London
My work with communities started as a high school hobby, building gaming sites and forums in the mid-2000s. We partnered with game publishers to serve as the community hub for their players.
That work taught me the fundamentals of community management and web development. After graduating from college into the 2009 recession, I fell back on those skills to land my first job in tech.
Over the next five years I hopped between digital agencies and startups, all while leading tech meetups and events in Toronto.
In 2015 I joined GoDaddy as the Community Manager for GoDaddy Pro, their partner program for web professionals. After launching the GoDaddy Community in 2016, I pivoted to focus on technical marketing for the GoDaddy Pro partner brand.
In 2022 I left GoDaddy to work with early-stage startups like Glide. Today I look after the Glide Experts partner community while occasionally advising other startups through Community Stacks.
